Keratin found in human hair
In hair fiber, keratin proteins comprise 65-95% of the total hair fiber by weight. Each molecule of keratin is very small - about 10 nanometers across. To give you a sense of how small that is, 10,000 keratin molecules lined up side by side would cover the width of the average terminal scalp hair. Some cosmetics manufacturers claim to make hair products that contain keratin to strengthen hair or promote hair growth. However, the cells in hair follicles make all the keratin protein that they require from amino acids supplied via the blood. So how do competitor’s products claiming to have Keratin in their Hair Building Fibers present any logical purpose, value, or benefit? In our opinion it does not. In fact we believe that Keratin was used as a Marketing Buzz Word and in our opinion by adding some wool fibers to the product is how they claim they are selling natural Keratin hair fibers.
We do not use animal products in our fibers/products nor do we test on animals.

Other fibers on the market are made from dyed wool which is an animal by product, hence their claim to "keratin fibers". This is also the reason so many people have itching on their scalp. Wool allergies (Wool does not belong in Hair Building Fibers)
